Work in Progress: Colours
Character and concept development for a futuristic animated film. Following an unexplained earthquake that caused no visible damage, the world suddenly turned black and white, leaving no trace of colour. Vast factories were built and experiments conducted in an attempt to extract, reconstruct and manufacture colour, yet every newly made object and every newborn lost it again. What no one realised was that colour had perhaps never disappeared. Maybe it had simply merged into white, where every colour of light exists at once, or into black, where all pigments had merged into one.
